"It’s no secret that San Francisco likes to wear its fetishes on its sleeve (and on its streets) but the Folsom Street Fair is an especially wild affair and the culminating day of SF’s Leather Pride Week. As San Francisco’s annual BDSM and leather subculture event, the fair is California’s third largest spectator event and the most prominent leather fair in the world. Covering over 13 city blocks, the Folsom Street Fair welcomes attendees from every community to don their finest leather/rubber/fetish attire and experience one of the wildest days in the city.
Now in its 26th year, the Folsom Street Fair presents over 250 erotic exhibitors and vendors, live entertainment, two live stages with 16 musical acts, food and drink, a dance area, a “Venus’ Playground,” for women, and more.
The Folsom Street fair will be held in San Francisco’s South of Market district on Folsom Street between 7th and 12th Streets, running from 11:00am-6:00pm. The festival is open to the public and free of charge. Proceeds and donations to the event will go to local charities."
